High Caliber Trading Ltd is building a suite of focused software products, each solving a distinct data-recovery problem. Every product is designed with its own brand and customer relationship.

What we build
When software is discontinued, the files it created become inaccessible. Apple Aperture, BlackBerry, Bento, legacy mind-mapping apps, old financial software — the data matters to the people who have it, and no mainstream tool handles it well.
Every HCT product runs on the user's own machine. Files are never uploaded, and originals are never modified. Users stay in control of their own data throughout.
Each product in this portfolio is sold with a one-time licence: customers pay once to solve a problem and keep the software, with no account lock-in and no recurring fee. The company is also developing subscription services — those will be sold on their own plainly stated terms, and never change what a one-time purchase already bought.
Seven products are built, signed, notarised and on sale. The assets are real: working software, a live storefront and a clear route to market. The company states plainly what exists and claims nothing it cannot evidence.
The portfolio
The products below address specific file formats and legacy applications that have been discontinued or replaced. Each is built with its own brand, customer focus, and support model.
Microsoft retired InfoPath, leaving organisations with .xsn form templates and years of filled-in .xml records that nothing will open. XSN Rescue reads them on the customer's own machine and exports the data to CSV, JSON, HTML and archival PDF. Sold per organisation, with estate and enterprise tiers for larger holdings.
Design studios and publishers hold archives of QuarkXPress documents from the format's dominant years. QuarkXPress Rescue recovers the document structure from v3.1–v4.1 .qxd files, both Windows- and Mac-authored, to IDML, RTF, JSON and plain text — locally, with the original opened read-only.
Modern FileMaker cannot open the .fp3 and .fp5 databases that ran countless offices through the 2000s, and the official route is a chain of upgrades through licences most people no longer have. Fetchavo reads those databases locally and exports tables, field names and records to CSV, XLSX and JSON.
Microsoft Publisher leaves Microsoft 365 in October 2026, and subscribers will no longer be able to open .pub files at all. Churches, schools and charities hold years of newsletters and booklets in that format. Publisher Rescue gets the text out to Word, the stored pictures out as image files, plus a PDF and an honest recovery report.
A Lightroom catalogue holds years of a photographer's curation — folders, keywords, ratings, flags, collections and develop history. Lightroom Catalog Rescue reads a .lrcat without Lightroom installed and exports that library data to CSV, HTML, JSON and portable XMP sidecars. It recovers the catalogue, not the photographs.
A OneNote section can be left stranded when a notebook stops syncing or an old OneNote 2016 install is gone. OneNote Rescue reads an orphaned .one section file on the customer's own machine and recovers its page titles and note text as plain text, a readable HTML notebook and a JSON report — no OneNote and no account required.
Microsoft discontinued Money in 2009. Households that tracked their finances in it for years now find their .mny files unreadable in any modern tool. Microsoft Money Rescue opens those files read-only and exports the accounts and transaction history to CSV and JSON — sensitive financial data never leaves the user's machine.
How we build
Every product in the portfolio today is built to the same operating standards: local-first processing, no data uploaded by default, one-time purchase with no subscription, clear product limits, and documented support boundaries. Products share a common cross-platform build framework and consistent privacy practices. The company is also developing subscription services, where the delivery model differs but the standards that matter do not: stated limits, nothing collected quietly, and the customer's right to export their data and leave.
